As a person who has actually farmed and paid very close attention to the health and well-being of my livestock, I know of my own knowledge that sheep, cattle, and chickens are not humans in drag. There are very large differences in both kind and degree between species as well as between livestock and humans.

I know too that if you leave open the gate between the barn and the grazing, sheep, cows, and pigs prefer to spend the day in the shade and comfort of their barn! They'll go out to feed and then head back for home. Disney notions of gamboling about in fields of flowers are ridiculous. Cows don't even lift their heads from their feed troughs during artificial insemination. Pigs and chickens, if not restrained, will tear with gusto into the carcasses of their kin that are slaughtered for human consumption.
