I should have persevered but I didn’t. Schoolwork and homework, two modern languages plus Latin, two science subjects, plus a friend who taught me how to vamp jazz piano my life changed and by the time I rediscovered my Mozart, I’d developed a rheumatic condition in my fingers and I couldn’t manage his keyboard music anymore - at least, not as I wanted, so I bought myself some Ingrid Haebler LPs instead.
